Astley Book Farm

Astley Book Farm

Astley Book Farm is 2 miles outside the North Warwickshire town of Bedworth,8 miles from Coventry and only 10 minutes from junction 3 of the M6. It is situated on the Arbury Estate, the birth place of Victorian novelist George Eliot and stock a range of her novels and related literature. We currently have approximately 45,000 books covering all subjects and interests, including a Children’s Hayloft, Science Fiction and Fantasy Barn. The books are housed in a range of old farm buildings, we opened to the public in March 2004, have continued to expand and plan to open more barns and stables through 2006. We have 4000sq feet in total, a large car park, plenty of seating and coffee/tea/cold drinks & cookies are on sale.
In September 2005 we received a Godiva Award for the Best New Business Venture in the Warwickshire area, decided by a panel of judges from a shortlist of 5.
